MENTAL CAPACITY ACT AND DEPRIVATION OF LIBERTIES AWARENESS
Aim The aim of this training is to increase awareness of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). This awareness will help when developing strategies to support an individual to make decisions and reduce the risk of depriving someone of their liberty, especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Description
This course is vital in ensuring all those in your care are treated with dignity. It is also incredibly important for the welfare of vulnerable people that you know about 'best interest' decisions and when to make them for someone. In order to keep your patient's best interests at the forefront of their care, you need this course.
